Friday, March 11 – Gallery opening reception and awards at the Foothills Arts Council, 129 Church St., Elkin, for the sixth annual Youth Art Expo from 5:30-7 p.m. – artwork from students from 10 area schools will be on display and compete for prizes, along with the Downtown Elkin Art Hike. Free admission and refreshments.
