Thursday June 14, 2012- Handbags for Hospice Event—Join us starting at 6pm until 8 pm at Cross Creek Country Club in Mount Airy and help make a difference by bidding on an array of new and celebrity purses to benefit children in hospice. Come be with us to mingle and network while shopping our silent auction for some elegant handbags and purses. Up for grabs thisyear are purses donated by Oscar winner Shirley Jones, (star of “The Partridge Family”); Dana Delany (star of “Desperate House Wives” and “Body of Proof”); Suzanne Somers (star of “Three’s Company” and author) and Marg Helgenberger (star of “CSI”). Fundraisers like this allow Mountain Valley Hospice to have special programs such as “KIDSPATH”.
